As one of the nation’s premier military support organizations in the U.S., Freedom Alliance is dedicated to honoring the nation’s bravest by addressing the needs of wounded service members and their families. Vistra takes great pride in its partnership with Freedom Alliance, a collaboration that began in 2012.

This national nonprofit extends a helping hand to injured veterans and their families through a range of impactful initiatives. These include outdoor therapy trips, the provision of mortgage-free homes, donations of all-terrain track chairs, the gift of payment-free vehicles, hosting hero retreats, distributing care packages, and more. Notably, the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund plays a crucial role in assisting the children of heroes who have been killed or disabled in military service. To date, they have proudly awarded over $23 million in college scholarships.

Vistra designed an ongoing integrated communications strategy to employ boots-on-the-ground community outreach, media relations and traditional PR to effectively enhance brand recognition, engage and educate diverse audiences and drive enrollment in the scholarship program.
