Karen Hanes, MBA, SPHR

DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

A Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Karen brings more than 20 years of applied and instructional HR business experience to Vistra. Her background includes work with several Fortune 500 companies and international HR, including IBM, General Electric, BE Aerospace, and Nabisco. She served as director of human resources or as a senior HR business partner for Matter Brothers Furniture, PAYCHEX, and Wendover Art Group. Karen earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from the University of Central Florida at Orlando, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a Spanish Minor from the University of Tampa. She is a certified Zenger Miller trainer.
