Shani brings over eight years of experience in creating data-driven, compelling and purposeful stakeholder communications and engagement strategies.
She has a diverse portfolio that includes various internal and external communications strategies, omni-channel marketing strategies, executive positioning communications strategies, newsletters, byline and op-ed articles, community engagement/ alignment, public relations strategies with media alerts and press releases, crisis communication playbooks, budget management with grant partnerships and sponsorships, media and spokesperson training, and stakeholder reputation analysis and management. For every project, Shani always takes every opportunity to follow the African proverb, “each one, teach one,” by sharing her own knowledge and always taking the opportunity to learn from others, which in return can help drive results and authenticity.
Shani is an active member of Color Comm®, the nation’s leading women’s platform addressing diversity & inclusion across the communications, marketing, advertising, media and digital industries. She’s also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and was awarded with a PRSA Tampa Bay Prestige Award for Internal Communications and Newsletters, for her elaborate communications strategy to drive engagement with new and un-engaged stakeholders in targeted markets.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Sociology, with a focus on intercultural sociology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
